♫ Cause it’s Sunday last day for a fun day
Back to business as usual come Monday ♫
By the power of the internet, let’s flashback to March. My work with We All Grow Summit wrapped up and I planned on taking a month off. I lowkey laid on the couch for a week. But that’s not really how this life goes. You have to be ready for anything. My homies at DriveShop happened to reach out to me during my break and was like do you want to roll in a 2016 Mazda3 s GT for a week? OH YES. It was time to get out and do thangs. I wanted in on a good ol’ LA Sunday Funday for sure. We did want to see what the Shake Shack hype was all about. And maybe some shopping and art gawking.
These three. Lovers of shiny cars, smooth rides + a bumpin’ system. Me = lover of safety. Happy to be in a car that isn’t ours? ALL THE WAY YES. Happy to be cruising in a 2016 Mazda3 s GT to LA? YESSIR. Buckle up fellas + let’s ride!
Got there in record Orange County to LA time of about 20 minutes. That 5N to 101N is easy on Sundays. Got to Shake Shack 30 minutes before opening. Line was to the street.
Worth it? Yes and no. Yes absolutely try it once. No for not all the time. None of us cared for the ShackBurger, sorry not sorry In-N-Out wins that one. But that Chick’n Shack? Shake Shake for the win.
Did I have to force this picture for the blog? Nope.
It was unusually hot for a March day so we took refuge at our favorite shop and art gallery in all of LA: Wacko/La Luz de Jesus.
There’s two cars we would get now that the teenagers are growing and driving. This is one of them. Within our price range. Spacious for four, seats 5, lightweight and oh so flossy – the interior was fancy. Very good on gas (full tank lasted from OC to San Diego, back to OC, OC to LA + as a daily driven for a week) The USB ports worked well when we got stuck in traffic during our San Diego to OC leg of our trip and I had to be snapchatting the whole way home.
Thank you DriveShop + Mazda for getting us out + about!
